Harvesting on the Kansas/ Oklahoma border

We left South Dakota in two different groups due to the crop being ready sooner than anticipated. Rain helped that happen. We were able to get right in the field after the first group down set up combines. The second group arrived two days later and was able to help in the field upon arrival. The wheat was however barely ready so we were unable to get a full day in. Two inches of rain stalled work for two days, but; today, we hope to get back in our machines! Triple digit weather should help that happen.

Sunrise today. 70 degrees and 90% humidity.
